A 12 hour candle vigil was carried out to mark the 100th anniversary of Britain's entry into WW1.  The aim was to mark the anniversary by providing an opportunity for the community to reflect.  Each hour, on the hour a different volunteer led on a specific theme.  Some read articles, some poems and others prayed and candles were lit.  The event was supported by individuals and groups from across the community.
