Sunday 9 November saw the annual remembrance day parade and church service at St Mary’s. The weather was fine and the community once again turned out in support. The Deputy Lord Lieutenant, Mrs Diana Hunt led the wreath laying at the memorial. As usual the Army, specifically 7 Bn REME from Wattisham Station did us proud by providing a fine marching detachment, an honour guard on the memorial and a fly past by two Apache helicopters. The officers and soldiers were all impeccably turned out and drilled with great precision.
